On February 20, 2014 our very own Thomas Lloyd, President and founder of Top Mexico Real Estate took Oath as the new Secretary of the Tulum Chapter of AMPI. Along beside him was another part of the Top Mexico Real Estate family, Ileana Cantillo who proudly took the oath of President of the Playa del Carmen chapter of AMPI.
Together Thomas and Ileana strive to make real estate transactions in Mexico ethical and safe for anyone purchasing real estate in Mexico. AMPI is an organization that follows and admirable code of ethics in real estate, the very same way that the National Association of Realtors does in the United States. Both AMPI and NAR members have a close relationship with each other with the same goal of upholding the laws and giving clients a trusted and pleasant experience in their real estate endeavors.
Thomas Lloyd has been helping foreigners achieve their dream of owning a home in Mexico for nearly 10 years and he was the first person to receive the first nationally recognized real estate degree in Mexico. In 2009 he was voted realtor of the year and today holds the same high standards of real estate practices.
Mexico is the third country with the most real estate investment in the world. AMPI is working hard to create standards and requirements for real estate licensing in the country of Mexico.
As Secretary of AMPI Tulum Thomas Lloyd will be working with the National Association of Realtors to organize and important Green Certification Event in Tulum. The event will give education to area real estate brokers, agents, developers and architects on green efficiency. Following each course is an exam that must be passed in order to receive the certification. This special Green Certification is the only certification recognized by the National Association of Realtors.
