Description: For the second day, US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta warned lawmakers cutting the US defense budget could make America prone to another attack. Wednesday on Capitol Hill, Panetta once chairman of the House budget panel, acknowledge that the US debt shouldn’t put American lives in the line of danger. In the beginning of the year President Obama cut the Department of Defense budget by $487 billion which will be complete within the next decade. Anthony Shaffer, senior fellow at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies, joins us for more.
