American cancels all US flights for several hours
DALLAS (AP) — A key computer system used to run many daily operations at American Airlines failed Tuesday, forcing the nation’s third-largest carrier to ground all flights across the United States for several hours and stranding thousands of frustrated passengers at airports and on planes.

White House threatens veto of House cybersecurity bill

U.S. loses $180 billion to corporate tax breaks
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The annual cost of corporate tax breaks – including one that eases shifting profits offshore and out of the U.S. taxman’s reach – has more than doubled to $180 billion since 1987, according to a report released on Monday.
